General rules of pursuit:
- Never put other traffic at risk.
- Self defense is allowed. If a suspect is doing anything against you (like ramming or pitting/pushing), you have the right to do the same yourself.
- Only the U-G-C skins are allowed to be used. (See link below)
- You need to use LFS-strobe or a similar program during any chase with the siren on.
- When onduty, one must always be in TeamSpeak communicating with other people onduty.
- A suspect is busted if he/she is standing still for at least 5 seconds with a cop near the car.
- When not chasing you must follow the road rules.
- As soon as you have left the track you are out off the chase.
- You may chase the same person again straight after busting if they commit another offence.
- If there are 5 or more people on-duty then you must not use the GTRs. Use less powerful cars (FR/TBO/LRF) (This means you are not allowed to use XFR/UFR as well).
- Cadets/Officers must remove tags/skins when going AFK for longer than 5 minutes. This includes !offduty.
- You cannot join another persons chase until condition 2, at this point a maximum of 2 can join the chase. When it turns to condition 3 there are no limits on how many can join.
- You must not go in the wrong lane until condition 3 of the chase.
- You must have an application to cadet on the LTC servers.
Rules in each condition:

Condition 1 - Suspect Refuses to stop, following suspect.
No force of any kind is allowed.
No need to call for back-up yet, suspect can still pull over.
Keep a safe distance, anticipate on the suspect braking hard and suddenly when pulling over.

Condition 2 - Failure to stop, may use force.
Contact is allowed (P.I.T. / boxing)
Back-up required for boxing in suspect or chasing. (try to keep it to 3 cars maximum)

Condition 3 - Using force, requesting backup!
Harder force is allowed (road blocks / pushing).
Back-up in the form of stationary roadblocks are required/allowed.
Also pushing/forcing suspect of the road is allowed.
Please do make sure other cruisers won't be at risk.

Condition 4 - Stop suspect at any cost, wanted dead or alive!
No restrictions.
Suspect may be hit from side and rear with 20 mph (32 km/h) speed difference maximum.
Additional rules:
-Once you're a official S2 cadet, you're allowed to go on-duty in demo.
-An auto pit bust is only allowed when the suspect leaves the track, for examples when using the command !tow, !specme, spectating etc. Making pit stops is allowed, the suspect will be easy to bust.
-Bankcamping from police isn't allowed either you should keep on patrolling.
Policing is not just about chasing, its about keeping the roads safe. So:
-If people are towing (getting towed by a second car) in the middle of the road, warn the traffic behind by parking next to the road or on the side preferably with your name changed to TOWING AHEAD
-If people lie dead in the middle of the road, just push them to the side. Gently! Or warn traffic by parking next to the road when a towtruck is coming to help.

Fines:
Speeding: 200 (exceeding the speedlimit, try to think about the changing zones and slowing down for it.
Wrong lane: 200 (driving on the wrong side, when not overtaking)
Wreckless: 500 (drifting, burnouts, driving without regard for other traffic)
Ramming: 500 (ramming cops, multiple fines can be given for ramming)
Running from the police: 1000 (this fine can be given when condition 2 is reached)
